CGI memories:

Black and white, fuzzy. Sitting at a table. A blank notebook is open in front of me. My pen lays nearby, useless. I stare at the scars on my left hand and forget how I got them. I stare at the pen and try to will myself to write like I use to. Once poetry came so effortlessly. "Shaman, heal thyself through words." But dementia and alcoholism have taken a toll on me. I've been sober for 6 years. Words and memories flit by and more often than not everything feels like it happened to someone else. I stare at my left hand as it curls up into a strange ugly fist, gray thick fingers ruined and only 54 years old. Somehow I've outlived Dylan Thomas' 39 years. Ha! My hand lays broken like a monstrously spider. My body and my future terrify me.

out of some misplaced sense of nostalgia, i do still check my local school system to see if they've officially called school off for snow days, and i am just. blown away that they have actually called it well in advance these last two days. *clears throat* when *I* was a child, they let you think you were still going to school the entire day and would only release their decision to call school off a 6am the day of, even if it had snowed all night and you were like "there's no way we could POSSIBLY have school." didn't matter. they wouldn't tell you until the last fucking second. kids these days, they actually get to know in ADVANCE. good for them

Watched SVTFOE's pilot and started all of these. The first one is inspired by Daron Nefcy's old drawing and the second one the pilot.

Seeing these two, feel like coming back to when I was watching SVTFOE, though I didn't pick out some scenes I also like.

Anyways I should say I love Starco.

So I am rewatching The Urge by Dan Howell and it made me remember when we had to do creative writing and I wrote this short story that was basically really angsty phanfiction without their names. I got told that it was good but it was too sad because it didn't have a happy ending
